Building resilience, confidence & empowerment in teenage girls,
with Sarah Kew
Is your daughter or someone you know struggling with anxiety, eating disorders or depression? Are they aged between 10 – 20 years old?
As a valued member of Simon Lee Coaching, Sarah has quickly and efficiently become an inspiration, healer and mentor for girls struggling with life and guiding them forward in her own unique way.
Sarah’s story is her power. Her direct experience of having suffered with crippling anxiety herself, gives her a thorough understanding of the challenges and cause of the epidemic of mental health issues in girls.
Sarah spent the majority of her young life in the swimming pool as a national competitive swimmer. Sport was a huge importance in her life. She qualified for the London Olympic trials in 2012 at just 13 years old.
Sarah has struggled with anxiety all of her life and this reached a critical phase in her mid teens and spent 6 months in a psychiatric hospital for suicide attempts in 2014.
After spending multiple years in and out of therapy, Sarah chose to turn her life around, focusing on mindfulness, nutrition and physical fitness. She discovered a new perspective on life which resulted in her being awarded her psychology degree in 2020.
During her time at the university she volunteered at childline as a Councillor, where she gained a lot of insight and experience working with young people.
She continues to mentor and empower girls to develop confidence and resilience.
