The Pyramid Texts
Ray is a old boxer brilliantly played by James Cosmo, who desperately estranged from his son, talks about his loves, his regrets, and his greatest life lessons to a camera in an empty boxing gym.
This is filmed almost entirely with the character talking to camera yet it works extremely well. The narrative on fear is particularly powerful. The film is written by BAFTA winner Geoff Thompson.
“Everyone is afraid. We are all afraid to be afraid.”

A question I got asked this week.
“I’ve heard manuka honey is vital for improving health?”
Manuka honey like all honey contains antimicrobial properties, but Manuka Varieties contain non-hydrogen peroxide, with greater antibacterial power.
The prices have got a little high though and currently range from £10 up to £50 or more depending on potency.
Not only is honey in general not a vital food but there reaches a point where the price moves beyond the benefits. I believe this is happening with manuka honey.
I personally sometimes use it but any raw, unprocessed honey tends to offer better value for money. So, manuka honey is not a vital food but if you can afford it, there’s no harm in indulging now and again.
